The system was the result of two years of intense research work by a large team of Sega employees from every aspect of hardware engineering, product development and marketing. The Saturn was a powerful machine for the time, but its design, with two CPUs and 6 other processors, made very difficult to properly exploit its power. Open mess.ini, look at the line starting with romspath, and change it to point at the folder containing your bios roms. Or make a 'roms' folder and put your roms in it. Make sure the roms are zipped up, the way you found them.

BIOS and Firmware


For certain emulators you may need certain additional files in order to play games. Most commonly you may need BIOS or firmware files for the console you want to emulate. As these files contain copyrighted material we cannot make them available on this site.
You may have some luck finding the files on your favorite torrent website, but they may also be found on the following page:
