Sega is celebrating its 60^th Anniversary by giving away one of the most impressive tactical battles in Total War: Shogun 2. The Battle of Kawagoe was originally only available as a pre-order bonus. However, it is now free for anyone who owns Total War: Shogun 2.

Shogun 2 is an imaginative Assembly getting it done; this is the new total war game and the best one I have ever experienced. Globetrotting triumph is supplanted by a fiery battle to bind together Japan, yet it never feels nearly anything. Total War: Shogun 2 is a strategy computer game developed by The Creative Assembly and published by Sega. In it the game returns to the 16th century Japan setting of Shogun: Total War. The game was released on March 15, 2011. The Battle of Kawagoe is a battle map featuring the eponymous historical battle of General Ujiyasu’s success.

In the historical battle of Kawagoe, the Hojo clan under the cover of darkness launched a swift attack against the besieging coalition of Ashikaga, Uesugi, and Ogigayatsu clans.

Clan Hojo even discarded their armor in order to seize victory against their enemies, using their prowess in speed and stealth.

Zoomed right into a battle usually means a lot of lag. Zoomed out as far as possible with normal camera you may still experience a bit, or it may go a bit slow, or jumps on triple speed. But as you can now zoom out as far as you want from the battle you will experience no slowness or lag at high altitude. The main Shogun 2 Realism project has focused on balancing the combat of the game, without looking at the campaign. This expansion focuses more on the main world view, but also rejigs the battle.
